Trying not to approach the dark side of Public Administration

I must to talk today (It is an obligation because this time I consider it a rather boring subject 😢😭) about an expert in the public administration admired, so, I will only comply with what is required.

Alvaro Ramirez Alujas, is the founder, principal investigator and coordinator of the Public Administration area of the Research Group on Government, Administration and Public Policies (GIGAPP) in Madrid. He is currently Associate Professor and Researcher at the Institute of Public Affairs (INAP) of the University of Chile, President of the Multitudes Foundation and Senior Advisor of the Organization of American States (OAS) Open Government Fellowship Program.

He has been a consultant specializing in open government and public management of the Latin American and Caribbean Institute for Economic and Social Planning (ILPES) at the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) of the United Nations (UN). Advised to several Ibero-American governments and international organizations (IDB, CLAD, FIIAPP, OAS, UN, etc.). He has also been a member of the Open Government Awards Jury of the Open Government Alliance (for the years 2014 and 2015) and Founder of the Open Government Standards initiative.

He is a Doctor (c) in Political Science and Sociology, Mention of Government and Public Administration, of the Ortega y Gasset University Research Institute (IUIOG), attached to the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM). M.A. In Government and Public Administration (Diploma of Advanced Studies of Third Cycle - DEA), IUIOG-UCM. Bachelor in Political Science, Public Administrator and Master in Management and Public Policy (MGPP) of the University of Chile.

Is also a super fan of Star Wars and I love it.

It is my model to follow, in this sad world of state administration, because it recognizes and seeks new answers to this system so anachronistic and increasingly behind. In addition, owns and works in the same interests that I have in this space: Lobby, open government, electronic government and citizen participation.

Well, this individual is my hope in this university career and my motivation to be able to practice in public administration someday.

Goodbye dear
